Day 2 on the water ... En route to Russia!

Learning, making friends, forming friendships, adventuring and living at sea. This is my view for the next 3 months :) There a ping pong table, pool and gym right behind me too... Couldn't get better !!

Made it across the Atlantic !

Packing seemed like it took forever, but travelling took even longer! Spent over 24 hours getting from Boston to Brian's family friend's in London. After two plane landings in tears because of my ears killing (while being judged by the little girl next to me), a 10 hour layover in Iceland and a looonggg trek with all our bags on the Underground (T in London) and on the streets of London to get to Brian's family friends, I finally made it to London! I'm so anxious to get on the boat and get situated, but it was nice to explore London today before we set sail on Saturday. We walked around and were able to see some of the amazing sights including London Bridge, a really cool outdoor market, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace! We actually ran into a girl that just got back from SAS and a boy that will be joining us this semester. Tomorrow we are heading to the Hilton to spend the night and are going to a giant SAS pub crawl that should be wicked fun!

Almost time to set sail!

I can’t believe that in one week’s time I’ll finally be stepping foot on the MV Explorer ready to set sail on this crazy adventure! So many things to do (mainly packing!) and people to see before I leave for 3.5 months! It’s going to be tough to leave this view from home on the Cape, but I am so anxious/ excited for everything I am going to see and experience this semester.
